What is...?

A gentle introduction to how I can support you — tap the questions that sound like you.

Calm, confident birth preparation

What is... Hypnobirthing?

Qualified in 2021 with KGHypnobirthing teacher training.

Does the thought of giving birth bring more worry than wonder? Hypnobirthing is a gentle, evidence-based way to swap fear for calm — so you can meet your baby feeling prepared, present and in control.

At Birth & Flow, hypnobirthing is inspired by the principles of KGHypnobirthing. Through breathing, deep relaxation, positive mindset and practical birth education, you'll learn how your body and mind work together in labour — and how to trust them.

Does this sound like you?

"I feel anxious or fearful about birth."

You're not alone. Hypnobirthing gently unpicks where that fear comes from and replaces it with knowledge — plus simple relaxation tools you can reach for the moment nerves rise.

"I want my partner to feel involved, not helpless."

Your partner becomes your calm anchor — with a clear role, the right words, and practical ways to support and protect your space at every stage.

"I'd love to feel calm and in control on the day."

With breathing and relaxation practice, you'll build a sense of focus you can return to again and again — whatever turn your birth takes.

"I'm planning an induction or caesarean — can this still help?"

Absolutely. Hypnobirthing isn't about one "perfect" birth. Whether your birth is vaginal, induced, assisted or by caesarean, it helps you feel informed, supported and positive every step of the way.

Calm, together — relaxing into birth as a couple.

Move, breathe & connect

What is... Pregnancy Yoga?

Qualified in 2021 with 300-hour accredited YogaBirth teacher training.

Is your body asking you to slow down? Pregnancy yoga is a gentle, midwife-led space to ease the aches, quiet the mind and connect with your baby — while quietly preparing your body for birth.

Specifically designed for pregnancy, my classes blend gentle flowing movement, breathing and deep relaxation — a rare chance in modern life to pause, listen inward, and find a sense of calm within.

Does this sound like you?

"I have backache or pelvic discomfort."

Gentle, pregnancy-safe poses release tension in your back, hips and pelvis, and open up space where your body feels tight — so you can move through your day more comfortably.

"I find it hard to switch off or sleep."

Slow breathing and relaxation give your nervous system permission to rest. Many mums tell me they feel lighter, calmer and sleep better after class.

"I want to feel strong and connected to my baby."

Mindful movement builds the strength and stamina birth asks of you, while breathing draws you into calm, connected moments with your baby.

"I want to know which positions actually help in labour."

As a midwife, I weave real birthing positions and biomechanics into class — so the poses you practise become tools you can actually use to help your baby navigate the pelvis on the day.

Gentle, midwife-led pregnancy yoga.

Birth as your body intends

What is... Physiological Birth?

Active Birth teacher training with Janet Balaskas.

Wondering what "natural" or physiological birth really means? It's birth led by your body's own physiology, with as little intervention as possible — supported by movement, breath and the right environment.

Physiological birth (often called natural birth) is when labour begins and unfolds on its own, guided by your body's hormones and instincts. My role is to help you understand that process, create the calm, active conditions that help it along, and feel confident working with your body rather than against it.

Does this sound like you?

"I'd love to let my body lead, with as little intervention as possible."

We'll look at how undisturbed labour works and the simple things — calm, dim, private spaces, freedom to move, staying upright — that help your body do what it's designed to do.

"I don't really understand what happens in labour."

As a midwife I'll walk you through each stage in plain language — what your body and baby are doing, and why — so it feels familiar rather than frightening on the day.

"I want to know how to stay active and upright in labour."

We'll practise positions, movement and breathing that ease discomfort and help your baby navigate the pelvis — tools you can reach for whatever turn your birth takes.

"I'm worried things won't go to plan."

No one can guarantee how birth unfolds — but understanding your options means that if plans change, you stay informed, involved and calm, and can still feel positive about your experience.

Working with your body — calm, active, supported.
