These Terms & Conditions apply to all classes, courses, workshops and services provided by Katharina Langer trading as Birth & Flow ("Birth & Flow", "we", "us"), including Pregnancy Yoga, Mum & Baby Yoga and Hypnobirthing. By booking or attending, you ("you", "the participant") agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Katharina Langer is a registered midwife. However, Birth & Flow classes, courses and workshops are educational and wellbeing services and are not a clinical or medical service. When teaching, Katharina acts as an educator and class facilitator, not in a clinical or professional midwifery capacity, and no midwife–client clinical relationship is created.
This means:
You are responsible for ensuring you are well enough and medically suitable to take part. By booking, you confirm that you have considered your own health and, where relevant, sought the agreement of your midwife or GP.
You must tell us, before and during the class, of any relevant medical condition, injury, complication or change in your health (or your baby's). You agree to work within your own comfort and ability, to stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness or discomfort, and to seek medical attention where appropriate.
Yoga and physical movement carry an inherent risk of injury. You take part voluntarily and at your own risk, and accept responsibility for listening to your body and modifying or stopping any activity as needed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Birth & Flow is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your participation, except where caused by our proven negligence.
In Mum & Baby Yoga and any class where babies or children are present, you remain fully responsible for the care, safety and supervision of your own child at all times. Birth & Flow does not accept responsibility for the supervision of babies or children.
A place is confirmed once payment (or any required deposit) is received. Submitting a booking request does not in itself constitute a legally binding contract, and Birth & Flow reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking at its discretion; where a booking cannot be fulfilled, a full refund of sums paid will be issued promptly.
A full refund will be provided if your baby arrives before the course begins, or in the unlikely event that the course is cancelled by the teacher. These are the only circumstances under which refunds will be issued.
Birth & Flow reserves the right to amend or cancel any class or course, including content, dates, times, location or published prices, where necessary. Any changes will be communicated as early as possible. Bookings already paid in full will not be subject to any increase in price.
For online sessions you are responsible for your own internet connection and a suitable device. Digital products and downloadable resources are licensed for your personal use only and are, by their nature, non-refundable once access has been provided.
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Any expiry date and conditions will be shown at the time of purchase.
Participants may not photograph, audio-record or video-record any part of a class or course without prior written permission. We will not photograph or feature you or your baby for marketing without your separate, explicit consent.
To keep classes safe and welcoming, Birth & Flow may decline or end participation where a participant's behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or disrespectful to others. No refund is due in such cases.
All course materials, including recordings, written content, audio tracks and resources, remain the intellectual property of Katharina Langer, Birth & Flow, or relevant rights holders. They are provided for personal use only and may not be copied, reproduced, shared or distributed without prior written permission. Participants agree not to record any part of a course.
Your personal information will be stored securely and processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection law (including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). Information is used only to administer your booking and provide your classes, and is not shared with third parties except as needed to deliver the service or as required by law. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by giving at least seven days' written notice.
Birth & Flow holds appropriate public liability and professional teaching insurance for the classes provided. This insurance covers the teaching activity only and does not extend to clinical or medical care.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Birth & Flow's total liability arising out of or in connection with the services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant class or course, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time; the version in force is the one published here at the time of your booking. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
