A sacred pause
Do you long for a space to connect with other pregnant women — somewhere to be heard, held and supported in a sacred space, by a midwife? This is your invitation.
A safe, non-judgemental space where expectant mothers can connect, share experiences and prepare for birth. Step into a cosy, warm space where you'll feel truly held — in the comfort of my own home, with soft lighting, gentle scents and a warm cup of tea or light snacks, where you'll be treated with love and lots of care. Our woman-led circle gently explores the topics that matter to you — such as common physical discomforts, pelvic floor health, birth topics and birth preferences, bonding with your baby and preparing for postpartum life — with active listening and discussions rather than advice, guided by Katharina, an experienced midwife. Some gentle physical preparation, breathing and hypnobirthing techniques may be woven in, and a little crafting may be added in from time to time.

A complete birth preparation for couples with KGHypnobirthing
A private 10-hour course for you and your birth partner, led by midwife Katharina and split over 3–4 sessions. A complete antenatal preparation — not just breathing — giving you the knowledge, tools and confidence to approach birth calm and prepared: practical breathing and relaxation, how birth works, your options for labour and birth, and how your partner can best support you. Best started early, from 20 up to 36 weeks. Available in person at my home in Morden, in your own home, or online at a reduced price.
What's included: course notes, the KGHypnobirthing book by Katherine Graves, and a "Colour & Calmness" relaxation MP3.
For couples returning for another baby — top up your techniques
A shorter 1:1 session to revisit and refresh your hypnobirthing tools second time around — breathing, relaxation and birth preferences — so you feel calm, confident and ready again. Ideal if you've completed a full hypnobirthing course before. Available in person at my home in Morden, in your own home, or online at a reduced price.
For couples — in person, 1:1 or in small groups in Morden
A relaxed, practical workshop for you and your birth partner exploring the physiology of labour and birth — what your body is doing at each stage, how to work with it rather than against it, and simple comfort, positioning and breathing techniques. Held in person, 1:1 or in small groups, at my home in Morden. A minimum of 2 couples is needed for this course to run.
Birth preferences & writing your birth plan — private, in person or via Zoom
A private session to talk through your birth preferences and the options open to you — pain relief, positions, interventions, what to expect and the questions to ask — so you can write a clear, confident birth plan that's right for you. Held one-to-one, in person at my home in Morden or via Zoom.
For a strong intention to birth without drugs or routine interventions
A full birth preparation for birthing people wanting to achieve an unmedicated vaginal birth.
Please note: no one can guarantee how birth unfolds, but this preparation gives you the knowledge, tools and confidence to work strongly towards the birth you hope for.
For a calm, informed abdominal birth
Everything you need to know if you are planning for an abdominal birth — a full 4-hour preparation.
A holistic class blending gentle, all-trimester yoga (safe from 15 weeks) — optimal fetal positioning, breathing for labour and hypnobirthing-inspired relaxation. One-to-one or a small group of up to 3 for personal attention, with refreshments provided. Booked as a block of 4 sessions, to be used over 6 weeks — contact me to agree a convenient start date and time. The exact location is given once you've booked.
